The Stihl KMA200R is powered by a 36-volt lithium-ion battery, resulting in low noise emissions that make it particularly suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments such as schools, hospitals, and residential neighborhoods. This tool operates quietly, efficiently, and delivers sufficient power for a wide range of applications including pruning, trimming, mowing, clearing, and cutting.
The unit is compatible with all KombiTools except the FS-KM and FSB-KM attachments. Tool attachment and removal are straightforward; users simply insert the chosen implement into the shaft and secure it. For mowing tasks, the KMA 200 R must be utilized with the FSS-KM grass trimmer attachment, which features a larger 45 cm cutting diameter and complies with relevant noise regulations. A new design loop handle featuring a quick-mount system allows height adjustment for ergonomic operation. This enhanced handle facilitates work on slopes, around trees, and on uneven ground. An adjustable harness point has been incorporated to reduce user fatigue and improve balance. The KMA 200 R is equipped with a robust brushless EC motor and a control handle offering three selectable speed settings (6,300, 8,200, 9,500 RPM) to suit various tasks, along with an LED display and continuously variable speed control. Its integrated air filter ensures optimal cooling during operation, extending the service life of the device and allowing for easy removal and cleaning. The tool is compatible with all AP series batteries; however, operational time will vary depending on the attachment employed. The AP 500 S battery offers the longest runtime but is also the heaviest, so users may opt for a lower-capacity battery for extended tasks requiring less weight, such as hedge trimming.The KMA200R comes standard with a basic harness.
