The Stihl KMA 120 R is a battery-powered KombiMotor aimed at professionals handling diverse gardening, landscaping, and maintenance jobs throughout their workday. Because it runs on battery power, it operates quietly, making it suitable for noise-sensitive locations like schools, hospitals, or residential neighborhoods. The 36-volt lithium-ion battery provides efficient, quiet, and powerful performance, letting you prune, trim, mow, clear, or cut with ease. Compatible with all KombiTools except the FSB-KM, tool attachment is straightforward: simply insert your chosen tool into the shaft and tighten it.

The unit features a redesigned loop handle equipped with a quick-mounting system so you can easily adjust the handle height for ergonomic comfort. This design also makes tasks on slopes, around trees, or over rough ground much more manageable. The KMA 120 R boasts a robust brushless EC motor and a control handle with two speed settings. ECO mode (level 1) is ideal for lighter tasks like lawn edging, helping conserve energy and extend battery life. Full speed mode (level 2) delivers extra power for more demanding jobs like leaf clearing, which require greater battery output. Depending on the KombiTool in use, you can also adjust the speed continuously.

All AP batteries are compatible with the KMA 120 R, but working time will vary based on the attachment. The AP 500 S battery offers the longest runtime, though it is the heaviest option, so you may prefer a lighter battery for extended activities such as hedge trimming.

A basic harness is included as standard with the KMA 120 R. Please note that KombiTools are sold separately.
