The STIHL FSA 50 is a battery-powered grass trimmer designed for efficient trimming, mowing, and lawn edging in residential gardens. As part of the AK System of battery tools, this model operates with low noise emissions, minimizing disturbance to nearby residents.

Equipped with an AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head, which can be refilled without additional tools, the FSA 50 also offers compatibility with the PolyCut 3-2 (available separately). The unit features a soft grip round handle and an adjustable telescopic shaft, both of which can be modified tool-free to suit user preferences. The mowing head is adjustable to three distinct angles, facilitating access to challenging areas such as beneath benches, along slopes, near trees, or on uneven terrain. A newly designed spacer bracket provides protection against accidental damage to delicate plants and flowers. Additionally, the mowing head rotates 90 degrees for precise lawn edge trimming.

The variable speed trigger enables accurate control of the mowing head’s speed, contributing to extended battery life. With excellent balance and lightweight construction, the FSA 50 serves as an ideal entry-level option suitable for users of various ages and skill levels.

When fully charged using the AK 10 battery, the FSA 50 achieves up to 25 minutes of operational time, while its balanced design further enhances user comfort during operation.
