REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

Our returns policy is designed to be very simple and easy to understand, whilst also conforming to the latest regulations and ensuring your rights as a consumer are fully supported.


Returns within seven working days

Under the distance selling regulations, you have a seven working day cooling off period in which any goods purchased can be returned for a full refund, for any reason.  This period starts the day after delivery is made. 

If you would like to return your goods, please use the contact us page to let us know.  The goods will need to be returned to us complete, unused, in a new condition, and with all original parts and packaging.  Upon receipt, we will inspect your goods, and providing they meet this criteria, we will issue a full refund to your purchasing card wihin seven working days.

The refund will include your original standard shipping charges.  If you selected a premium express delivery service, this cost will not be refunded.


Returns within 30 days

We hope that you will be happy with your product, however in the unlikely event of a fault occuring with the product within the first 30 days following receipt, please use the contact us page to report the fault to us immediately. 

We will arrange to have the goods collected from you using our courier, and upon receipt we will inspect the goods for the fault reported.  Providing the fault is a genuine issue, and has not been caused by any modification, misuse, or abuse of the equipment we will replace the goods with a new product, or equvialent new model.  In the event of a replacement not being available, we can issue a refund for the full purchase price of the goods, excluding initial carriage charges.

In the event of an order being returned due to customer error - i.e. ordering an incorrect item or voltage, a refund will be given less the initial cost of delivery.  Where goods are to be returned due a fault with the goods or an error by HSSTOOLSHOP, we will cover the cost of carriage both to and from our premises.


Returns within 1 year

Returns made after 30 days are subject to the warranty guidelines of the manufacturer of the product in question.  However, we do have a full workshop at our Surrey premises, and are able to undertake repairs (whether warranty or non-warranty) on all of the Power Tools that we sell.

Please contact us if you have a problem, and we will advise the best way forward for rectifying the situation.


Notes and Exclusions

Please note that due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on some items such as Safety Glasses (which include earplugs).  This list is not exhaustive, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Refunds can only be made to the card used to complete your initial transaction, no cash alternatives are available. 

The above returns policies do not affect your Statutory Rights.
