Hire Services (Southern) Ltd is an independant Tool and Plant Hire Company which has been established in Old Woking, Surrey since 1972.  Over our 39 year history we have provided local builders, landscape gardeners, DIY enthusiasts and the community with a comprehensive, friendly and experienced service.

As well as providing a comprehensive Hire Fleet, we are also an authorised dealer and stockist for many of the market leading brands.  Having worked with Builders, Landscape Gardeners and other tradesmen for nearly four decades, we understand their demands and needs for reliable and high quality tools.  It is also a testament to the quality of the tools we sell that many of them can be found on our Hire Fleet.

Due to our large buying power and established history, we are able to offer tools for sale at extremely competitive prices.  All of the tools for sale on this website are brand new and boxed, we don't sell used or ex-hire equipment online.  You can also buy with confidence that we are professional retail company, all of our tools and products are on display at our Surrey premises, and our experienced staff are on hand to help you with any enquiry.

In addition to tool hire and sales, we also have our own highly experienced repairs and servicing team, and we are authorised service agents for all the brands we stock including Makita, Stihl, Viking, Paslode, Honda, Fein and many others.  We also carry a large stock of parts for all the machines we sell, and can source any part very quickly thanks to our established industry contacts.
